Game Maker

Did you always want to design computer games but don't you want to spend a lot of time learning to become a programmer? Then you came to the right place. Game Maker is a program that allows you to make exciting computer games without the need to write a single line of code. Using easy to learn drag-and-drop actions you can make professional looking games in little time. Games with backgrounds, animated graphics, music and sound effects. And once you get more experienced there is a built-in programming language that gives you full flexibility. What is best, Game Maker can be used completely free of charge. And you can use the games you produced in any way you like. You can even sell them! Game Maker is distributed by YoYo Games. Latest version is 7.0 (Feb, 2007).

Drawing for Children

Drawing for Childen is a drawing program for small children with many nice options. The best way to learn to use it is simply to use it. There is though a document describing the use of the program. Latest version is 2.2 (Dec 26, 2007).

Child Proof

Child Proof is a program that protect your computer from children by accident pressing wrong buttons or key. It hides all windows, the toolbar at the bottom and the desktop and replaces it by a toolbar with programs you allow your child to execute. This avoids most problems when children use the computer (but not all). No longer maintained. Source code is available. Latest version is 1.0 (Nov 16, 2000).

Lego Robot Software

Lego has introduced the MindStorms and CyberMaster robots. The software that comes with it is rather limited in possibilities. I wrote a programming environment for them. You can find it through my Lego Robot Pages. It is though no longer maintained. Source code is available.

The programs Drape, Motion and Tangram are no longer available. A commercial version of these programs is available through Sherston under the name Prof. Roberts ICT Problem Solving Kit.
