Mobile Video Browsing. Better interfaces for interactivly navigating and browsing video on mobile handheld devices.

TRIUMF (Tracking, Recognition, and Interpretation of User Motion and Faces) belongs to "WP 3.2 Detecting, interpreting and affecting user behavior" of the GATE project (Game research for training and entertainment).

FOCUS K3D (Foster the Comprehension and Use of Knowledge Intensive 3D Media, ICT-2007-214993) is a Coordination Action (CA) of the EU's 7th Framework Programme which aims at promoting the adoption of best-practices for the use of semantics in 3D content modelling and processing.

Note to students who are looking for interesting topics for experimentation and master thesis projects: If you are interested in any of the following areas
  • Computer graphics
  • 3D graphics on mobiles
  • Mobile gaming
  • iPhone/iPod touch programming
  • QTVR, digital photography, image processing
  • Video processing
  • Human Computer Interaction, interfaces for multimedia
just drop by my office or send me a quick note in order to arrange a meeting in which we can discuss different options.
